About our Branch

The Chester Branch is part of the Chester Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers. Our branch stretches from Tushingham in the South to Backford in the North and from Dodleston in the West to Tarporley in the East.

The most important part of bell ringing is to ring for Sunday service(s), but as a society we support each other in a variety of ways.

Ringers will be very welcome at any of the towers.

We believe that we are an active society, with plenty of ringing and social activities. We have regular practices around the branch (see the list of towers and practice nights under the towers tab on the home page). All ringers are welcome to come and join us at one of our events.

If you are interested in learning to ring church bells you would be made most welcome at one of our towers, where you would be taught to handle a bell. Please see the 'About Bell Ringing' link on the home page for more information.
